vestment no.5 is part of mother moons summer sojourn into natural plant dyes..which has led to a mini collection of weird and whimsical hand dyed, hand embroidered magical very feral dresses.
not easy vestments to care for as they really don't like being washed at all...well thats what they said to me anyway. just a little water, that is all these living colours can tolerate. no ironing, no chemicals, no tumble drying. just a little water and a slight breeze.
so here we have 'the queen of hearts' raggish smock like dress, voluminous skirt with abandoned rag doll aesthetic.
all cotton
suitable up to a size 18
chest measures 44 inches
dyed with sumac and oak and hand embroidered free style..me just stitching without too much planning...these are NOT tidy on the inside. These dresses MUST be considered art as opposed to clothes.
